The Rotary Club of Minden, Nevada, has served the Carson Valley community since 1926. 

Our organization is dedicated to raising funds for:

Supporting Children

We donate books, volunteer in our schools, and lead the high school Interact Club.

We award grants 3x per year to DCSD teachers and other groups working with kids.

Scholarships

College scholarships for graduating seniors.

Service to our Community

Service projects, such as installing and rehabilitating the exercise equipment in Lampe Park, building a gazebo in Minden Park, and supporting the Douglas County pickleball courts.

Exchange Students

Rotary Youth Exchange - we host and support incoming and outgoing foreign exchange students.

How much does it cost to join Rotary?

Annual dues are $330, billed in 2 installments of $165.

Brown bag lunches at COD Casino meeting room are $10.

Rotarians are encouraged to donate $25 per year to the Paul Harris Foundation. When every Rotarian participates every year, additional district grant funds are awarded.

How much time does it take?

We meet weekly on Thursdays for 1 hour. 

Volunteer events include the Giving Cup golf fundraiser, service projects, and staffing the hot dog and breakfast burrito stand. 

Events are a few hours per month May-ish through September-ish.

The Club and Foundation each have a board of directors. Rotarians serve staggered terms, so there are opportunities to lead each year.
